Yesterday we had the WSO2 inter-house basketball finals at the WSO2 basketball courts. What a day and what a atmosphere, every thing was electric .... !
Playing under lights, DJ music (the Sinhala R&B part was cool), and food 'kottu' made the environment so exiting.
Unbeaten 'Wild-Boars' won and I'm proud to be on the team and to do a valuable contribution to the win , This was the first competitive game I played after 10 years from leaving my BB club. Secret for our win was playing as a team, identify the individual talents and good leadership.
The idea came from me and Heshan to play a inter house tournament to find a good team to play with others and it did really work, now I cant think about who is playing first five because we have more good players.
Watch-out ....! WSO2 is not only leading in software arena and talented technical individuals it got lot of sport talents and we are playing for mercantile tournament soon.
